I have seen these used on romahomes but has anyone tried them on a Rascal van, pick up or Bambi?

Asfar as I know the rear springs on the Bambi are heavyweight ones. I don't know it they will fit the van rascal without a problem, but I bet someone on here does

My rear springs on the Romahome have an extra spring clamped on under the existing ones which i assumed was for the extra weight. Does make a huge difference, but also a nightmare without the romahome on as the rear is solid making the ride a bit jumpy over bumpy roads.

Hi Claire
Some Bambi's have additional spring assistors fitted, (an extra leaf clamped onto and below the original as JJ has) but this was an optional extra that could be fitted when purchased new, ot added at a later stage.
The standard Bambi springs are just the same as the Rascal pickup would have had fitted as standard before the bambi body was built onto it.
THe additional spring assistors are bery rare now and as I have a Bambi and a Pickup & Demountable I wondered if the coil spring idea would help.
