We're at Glastonbury at the moment.  In the last 30 miles here I ceased being able to get into 5th.  It was like the gear was no longer there.   Then I couldn't get into 3rd.   The clutch also sometimes judders.  There's no grating of gears, is just like they are not there.  I ca, for the moment, sometimes get in by double-declutching.  I assume this is a clutch problem rather than gearbox?

Someone suggested the clutch fluid but I've my Haynes with me and can't see any mention of clutch fluid.  Any ideas, please?

I don't know the problem as such...

When in gear, do you still have full clutch control?

I.e. when you go into 1st gear can you still edge the power on very gradually...or is it all or nothing?

If you get the rev range right you CAN change gear without the clutch at all... but I would only advise that in an emergency / to get you home.

Take the gear stick cover off & check the 12m.m. nut on the left hand side has not loosened causing the black motion block that connects stick to gear change cables to disengage. Report back & if it is not that we will move onto the next stage. Derek.
