hi guys
can anyone tell me how important these pipes are that come from the air box,i think theres 3 in total & they have fallen to bits
will this hamper the running of the engine?
are they available

The original ducting is 38 m.m. which is no longer available to my knowledge.
I use 40m.m. Get it from your local car parts store.
Improves running in the winter especially in freezing weather but is not an essential fitment.

well you were very fortunate keith....in cold temperatures mine will not run for long without the airducting .it will start and tickover ...but it wont drive fast for long ..the carburettor freezes up and stops the engine...

mine are down to just paper linings at present, maybe plastic flexi pipe is the way to go,,, ill have a scout round and get back   over and out

could be right there ,,, though im not going out there tonight to look at distances, compositions and angles of assent ,,, maybe tomorrow   first thing , god willing and wife working
