Just thought I'd say hello to all the members out there and briefly introduce myself. I am a proud owner of my 22 year old Rascal Nipper camper and have owned it for the last four years. I was searching Autotrader for caravans when I stumbled upon this little camper and ended up buying it on a whim. What ever posessed me to do so I'll never know but one thing's for sure; I have had more fun with this little van than I could ever have dreamed of. This Elddis Nipper camper has been the best impulse buy I ever made! I even travelled to the other side of the country to view & buy it (North Wales). I became good friends with the previous owner that at least once a year me and the Nipper spend a long weekend in Wales camped up in his field.
 
It came into it's own at it's first Folk Festival in 2007 when the summer weather was so foul, all my mates had to evacuate their soaked tents for the dry haven of my camper! The best was yet to come. Last June (2010) I took her on a 'D-Day' tour from Dunkerque down the coast to the Normandie beaches then on to Oradour-Sur-Glane. Surprisingly, the only problem I encountered was the closing of the contact breaker points! Ten minutes with a feeler gauge and we're running smoothly again!

The journey back from Oradour took 14 hours (inc 2 hrs worth of breaks) of solid driving in one day to reach Calias and the poor ole' girl took it in her stride!

Then the very next weekend I went to Wales in her. I've never known such an old vehicle to remain so reliable!
