Side-Light upgrade: Highly reccomended!

Hi guys, been a while since my last post as just been busy with work and enjoying having the van back and making plans for the summer.

As my interior is more or less complete I have now started work on any external little things I can do to make the van better and came across these:

They only cost me a tenner and make a huge difference. If you have already upgraded your headlight bulbs to halogen or plan to do so then I would recommend these bulbs no end. I have yet to fully test their power draw with a meter but they are supposed to draw no more than the standard 5w@12v (probably less in fact) and yet are extremely bright and easily 10x what the originals were.

The light is white/crisp and matches the halogen headlight bulbs almost perfectly. Instead of having white light from the headlights and brown/yellow light from the side-lights.

These will fit any supercarry based rascal with the side-lights in the bumper.

The following picture was taken in pitch black, with JUST the side-lights in the bumper switched on. In the case of my supercarry that is engine off and side-lights selected...so nothing coming from headlights...kind of parking lights option:




Seriously, if you have a supercarry style bumper...get these bulbs!

Hi I run a 3.5 ton Iveco tipper as a daily driver for work I upgraded to LED bulbs front and rear last september , I got stopped last week in asda car park and was asked by some wiseguy if I gave away free sunglasses when I braked.......led bulbs are the doggys wobbly bits and are on my shopping list for my Rascal

Need to test them too as they should use less power than the original bulbs so brilliant for a little background lighting when camping.

Led lights are a nightmare if you ride a motor bike in the rain. The glare whites out or reds out  visibility by reflecting all over the visor/screen/mirrors & visibility disappears. You know something is in front or behind but dont know where it is. Its not so bad for cars because they have demisters & wipers to clear the moisture droplets which create the glare.

i have done the head lights but couldnt find any side lights,,, i will get me some of them later for my beastie.

Look on e bay... LED side light/indicator @£1 each.    Tail/stop light bulbs @£2 easn often with free or very cheep P&P from China. Mine arrived after a little bit of a wait !

Bought a pair of these, cheers for the post. Will these fit the tail light? Bought halogen light bulbs aswell, can't wait to get them!

You can get halogen bulbs go for the blue ones give you a white light on ebay p45 halogen
