Hello, I'm Andy from Near Edinburgh, Scotland.

Just got myself a White 1987 E Bedford Rascal Pick up with a Romahome attachment.

I've wanted a rascal for years (well... since i saw one on one of the Top Gear challenges)

My Rascal is a bit of a rolling project as the previous owner had stripped out the camper to restore it, but that's as far as it went, and its had some horrible repairs done to the front arches, but i hope to get all that sorted out in the future (when the weather gets better). At the moment the romahome part is propped up at my parents house and I've got a big box of sand strapped to the back of it to help with traction in the bad weather as well as 2 wheels off my MGB with snow tyres on the rear.

Its been a bit of a rocky introduction to the world of Rascal ownership with it breaking down a few times, having the exhaust silencer explode when it backfired going along the Bypass and getting it stuck in the snow but its a hoot to drive.

Looking forward to chatting to you all and thanks in advance for the use of all your knowledge.

All the best.

Andy

Hello guys I;ve just got myself an F reg suzuki supercarry  campervan. Found your site tonight and looks a great place for all sorts of info.
I'm going to need some welding and filling done to arches and doors. I live in Ayrshire Scotland. Does anyone know where i can get this done and is it going to break the bank?

Welcome to the site.
I can do all the welding you want but I`m in the sunny South not the snowy  Scottish regions where you are.

Been out & about on the old Norton today in beautifull warm spring like sunshine.
On Thursday it persisted down all day though.
